SPEEDING: Show respect to residents

I live in Allerburn Lea, Alnwick, and I would like to talk about the drivers who race up and down the main road on the estate.

Even with the speed bumps, they build up speed without any regard of children playing or people needing to reverse out of their driveways.

I often feel harassed as they come speeding down the hill and are visibly indignant. I cause them to slow down while reversing out of my drive.

One minute the road is clear and then boom, they come hurtling down the road.

These people seem to have no manners and lack any respect for local residents and residents’ children.

Go on, do yourself and everyone else a favour, get home 30 seconds later, respect other road users and keep children safe.
