Gazette readers captured some of the last flying moments of the Vulcan bomber XH558 when it flew over Northumberland this afternoon as part of its farewell tour.
Here is a selection of your pictures.
The plane was flying a circuit across northern England and Scotland today from its base in Doncaster, while another circuit around southern England and Wales is planned for tomorrow (Sunday).
The Gazette spoke to two men, including a former Victor Tanker pilot, who had arranged for the last operational Vulcan bomber to fly over Eshott Airfield and Alnwick. They paid tribute to the warplane.
