STYLISH home furnishings, luxurious accessories and much more – etc’s Home Show promises to be a shopping experience like no other.

Held at the Stadium of Light this Sunday, September 11, the show brings together hundreds of quality exhibitors from across the North East, including headlining exhibitor, Home Interiors, of Portrack Lane, Stockton.

It’s the first year that etc, a luxury lifestyle magazine for the North East which is owned by Northeast Press, publisher of the Northumberland Gazette, has held such an event.

Georga Spottiswood, etc editor, said: “It’s going to be a fantastic day. We have an excellent array of exhibitors, with some of the hottest and trendiest stores in the North East coming along. There will be everything you need to spruce up your home with stylish accessories as well as experts on hand to offer their advice on all you home interior needs.”

The home show will have many themed areas from interiors, showcasing the best in kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms; exteriors, which will display the best in windows, doors, summerhouses and conservatories, and also a food and homeware area with local produce, cakes and sweets.

For fashion and beauty there’s the Fashion Fix suite, where Mona McTaggart, owner of high-end womenswear store Joulani in Darlington, will be showing women of all shapes and sizes what works with their figure.

Georgia added: “We also have Ramsay and Johnson hair salon coming along and the team will be showcasing how people can wear the latest hairstyles.”

Other exhibitors will include photographers, florists, home entertainment and there will be a cooking masterclass from SAFC’s award-winning executive head chef, Patrick Lesca.

Lisa Aynsley, North East Press events manager, said: “The etc Home Show gives businesses a chance to showcase their products and services to a huge audience.

“There will be a wide variety of international brands and one-man bands, showing what the biggest and smallest businesses have to offer.

“We think this will be a very popular event, with some great bargains to be had, and we’re expecting huge crowds with between two to three thousand people attending throughout the course of the day.”

The home show will take place on Sunday at the Stadium of Light between 11am and 4pm. Entry is £5 and parking is free. For more information visit www.etchomeshow.co.uk To buy tickets for the event, call Lisa Aynsley on 0191 5017129.
