An information event aimed at older people interested in finding out about housing and social-care options for the future is set to take place in north Northumberland next month.
The housing and care information event is in the Cheviot Centre in Wooler on Wednesday, November 5, from 10am until 1.30pm with lunch included.
The day will see a new service launched by Age UK Northumberland in association with Care & Repair England.
Named Silverlinks, it aims to provide peer support and advice for the over 50s around housing and social-care needs.
It is a free service whether you are in rented accommodation or an owner occupier.
