Councillors in Belford are concerned that businessses could be affected by roadworks, with some complaining that they had not been notified about the works.

At Thursday night’s meeting of Belford Parish Council, members agreed that they needed to find out what was happening with the works on West Street as a ‘matter of urgency’.

And concerns were raised that tourism businesses were missing out on trade, exacerbated by the lack of notification from the county council.
