The Light Up A Life remembrance service is run by HospiceCare North Northumberland and gives people the opportunity to take some time out of the busy Christmas period to reflect and remember a loved one.

Members of local choirs will join the events to sing carols, and there will be a short time for reflection and prayer.

Maxine Shell, clinical support co-ordinator for HospiceCare, said: “Light Up A Life is always a very special evening. Everyone is welcome and you do not need to have any connection with the hospice to attend. It can be comforting to join others at this time of year in remembering lost ones.”
