Regional successes for group after two wedding award wins

The pair won Best Countryside Wedding Venue and Best Newcomer respectively at the North East and Yorkshire section of The Wedding Industry Awards, at an event at Rockliffe Hall, near Darlington, on Monday.

Both wedding venues are part of the Apartment Group, owned by leisure entrepreneur Duncan Fisher, and have been awarded the top prizes after a lengthy vetting and voting process.

This marks the second time that Newton Hall has been named Best Countryside Venue and it is an exciting first industry award for sister venue, Le Petit Château, which only opened in June and will have already hosted more than 60 weddings by the end of the year.

Duncan said: “Our venues winning these awards has been ultimately decided by the testimonials from all of our happy customers, which shows our absolute commitment to providing the best service possible from start to finish. I’m so proud of the whole team’s efforts in making this a reality for so many couples.”

As regional winners, both are now entered into the nationwide awards in 2017.
