Members of the Alnwick and District Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Branch were out on a fund-raising mission in the town last weekend.
They collected more than £180 for the group and members hoped that their efforts would also help to raise awareness of the branch.
The group caters for people living in the north Northumberland postcodes NE65 to NE71, from Longhorsley and Amble in the south to Wooler and Belford in the north.
The branch provides support and information to anyone affected by MS, as well as their carers and friends. The group, chaired by Glynis Carr, 60, from Alnwick, who has suffered from MS for more than 30 years, also holds outings and social events.
Anybody wanting to contact the group or wants to find out more about the branch should email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the welfare team on 07581 460207. MS is a neurological condition which affects around 100,000 people in the UK. For more information, visit Link to website
