THE Year 4 children from Amble Links First School visited Robinwood Activity Centre in Alston for the first time for a three-day residential visit.

During their stay, the children took part in 14 different outdoor, adventurous and problem-solving activities, including archery, climbing, caving, the giant swing and The Piranha Pool!

Unfortunately, the canoeing was cancelled due to a very icy pond.

“Every one of the children challenged themselves to try the activities with a great deal of success,” said headmaster Paul Heeley.

“We were very proud of the individual achievements of each child.

“They have not stopped talking about what they have done since their return.”
