A fund-raising music festival, in aid of Evie Campbell and Alnwick’s Christmas lights committee, is being staged next month.

The Shepherd’s Rest, in Alnwick, is holding its second Shepherd’s Fest extravaganza.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 24, from 1pm until 10pm.

Music will be provided from the likes of King For A Day and Beth Harding, among others.

The packed programme also includes a barbecue, face-painting, games, fairground rides courtesy of Slaters, and much more.

Tickets are £8 adults, £4 U16s and are available from The Shepherd’s Rest or The George, also in Alnwick.

The Shepherd’s Rest, located on Alnwick Moor, held its first Shepherd’s Fest last year to celebrate the Queen’s birthday and to raise money for numerous local good causes.
