A 1940s-themed fund-raiser is being held at an Alnwick pub tomorrow in aid of Help for Heroes.
The Alnwick Arms is hosting the event from 8pm and is the idea of pub manager Geoff Dade.
Geoff feels strongly about supporting British troops and helping wounded veterans,
The Help for Heroes party will feature live music from the award-winning vocalist Barni Scott, singing a mixture of music from the 40s to the noughties.
There will be a prize for the best costume and a raffle with prizes donated by businesses in the town.
As well as the normal range of drinks, special cocktails will be served, mixed by Geoff, and the party will end in style with a disco.
The pub will also be decorated to suit the theme – and there may be a surprise or two.
Help for Heroes merchandise will be available.
