Police have thanked the many visitors to Alnwick, Amble and Rothbury over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.
Neighbourhood Inspector Paul Truscott said: “Despite a large number of people enjoying themselves in the towns and villages over the Bank Holiday there were very few problems.
“Officers in the area only made three arrests for drunk and disorderly behaviour over this extended Bank Holiday.”
Officers were on duty to help keep people safe, including supporting the latest phase of the Northumbria Police force-wide campaign ‘Keys, money, phone, plans to get home?’ aimed at personal safety.
Insp Truscott added: “I’d like to thank everyone who visited the area over the weekend for their cooperation in helping to make Alnwick, Amble and Rothbury safe places to visit and enjoy the entertainment on offer as well as celebrating the Jubilee.”
