Police are appealing for information after a sneak burglary in Red Row.

Between 3pm and 3.30pm on Thursday, October 23, a burglar broke into a house in the village and stole an amount of cash.

The man left the property and was confronted by a neighbour before making off.

He is described as being around 5ft 10ins tall, well built, in his 30s and with short, wiry, dark hair and stubble. He was wearing a dark-coloured workman type jacket that appeared too big for him, dark jeans and is believed to have been in a red transit-style van, possibly with another man.

Inquiries are ongoing into the burglary and police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact them on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 533 24/10/14.
