Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Northumberland.

It happened between 5pm on Wednesday, September 24, and 9am on Friday, September 26, at a site off the main road in Espley, near Longhorsley.

Tools, including a socket set, hand tools and welder, were stolen from a shed.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on 101 ext 69191, quoting reference 332 26/09/14, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The appeal comes during Northumbria Police’s Operation Soundwave, aimed at tackling thieves and burglars across the force.
