A touring theatre company has joined forces with a Berwick-based project to bring art to life.

Northumberland Theatre Company will be working with The Wilson’s Tales Project, a group of enthusiasts whose aim is to breathe new life into “Wilson’s Tales of the Borders, and of Scotland – historical, traditionary and Imaginative.”

They aim to see the tales brought to life in a variety of different art forms.

The collaboration will involve administration, marketing and fundraising support from NTC for a pop-up museum; interactive digital storytelling map, more active community involvement, and restoration of the Wilson’s Memorial in Tweedmouth, with performances by NTC of further Wilson’s Tales in autumn 2017.
