These two pictures show the front and back of a cigarette card which features Ellingham FC.
It was found by a woman in Felton, Mrs Pattison, who tried to find relatives of any of those featured using the names on the back.
By contacting the Packhorse in Ellingham to see if they could help, she managed to get in touch with Mrs Maxwell, wife of J Maxwell, whose brother T Maxwell is also featured in the line-up.
But Mrs Pattison said that she hadn’t been able to track down anyone else. Perhaps our readers can help?
The back of the card reads: ‘No.4 Ellingham Football Club. Left to right, back row: G Crozier, R Scott, J Maxwell (capt), W Hay, G Ford, W Mattches. Front row: T Maxwell, C Campbell, R Robertson, S Campbell, T Hogg. Formed in 1980, this club were members of 2nd Division N. Northumberland League until season 1982/83 when they gained promotion to Division 1. In season 1981/82, they were runners-up for the Alnwick Infirmary Runciman Cup.’
