A new drinks brand has unveiled a smaller-sized bottle suitable for the Christmas and gift market, and it is ‘selling like hot cakes’.
Alnwick Gin was launched just over a month ago by business partners Andrew Petherick and Neil Osborne.
The product is hand-crafted with many of the ingredients foraged locally, and it is already proving popular with punters.
Alongside the 0.5l bottle, the lads have expanded the offer by making a 200ml bottle available, priced £20.

As part of the new range and in time for Christmas, an emergency gin and tonic pack is set to be launched on Monday.
Andrew and Neil have teamed up with Hexham-based Fentimans to offer a 50ml bottle of Alnwick Gin and a 125ml bottle of Fentimans tonic.
Branching out yet further, the lads recently unveiled the limited-edition, nautical-themed Williams Expedition Gin, in aid of the Blyth Tall Ship Project.
