Liberal Democrat MP Sir Alan Beith’s annual surgery tour around the Berwick upon Tweed constituency starts next week.
On Thursday, July 19, Sir Alan will be in the northern part of the constituency calling at Scremerston, Ancroft, Holy Island, Beal, Fenwick, Lowick, Bowsden and Ford in the morning.
In the afternoon the tour continues to Etal, Duddo, Shoresdean, Norham, Horncliffe and East Ord.
On Friday, July 20, Sir Alan will be in Coquetdale, with calls to Alnham, Netherton, Biddlestone, Alwinton, Harbottle, Sharperton, Holystone, Hepple and Thropton.
And on Monday, July 23, Sir Alan will be in the south eastern part of the consituency. He will be available to meet constituents at Stobswood, Widdrington Station, Ulgham, Linton, and Ellington in the morning. Afternoon stops are at Lynemouth, Cresswell, Widdrington Village, Red Row, Hadston, Togston, High Hauxley and Low Hauxley.
Sir Alan said: “The surgery tour is usually planned for early autumn, but because the House of Commons is sitting for much of September, this year I will be out and about in July, August and September.
“Representing such a big, rural constituency, it is very important to find out about specific issues in specific areas, which is why my Annual Tour is so crucial.”
