More time to call the county

THE county council has extended the opening hours of its customer contact centre to make it easier and more convenient for residents.

The council’s telephone lines will now be open an extra two hours and will be open Monday to Friday from 8am until 7pm.

Staff in the contact centre take in the region of 28,000 calls every month from customers wishing to make a payment or needing information and support on a wide range of issues.
