Key Stage 2 at St Michael’s CE Primary School, Alnwick, have been competing in a countywide maths challenge and the school was announced as the winner.

The Narwhals won the overall competition with the Dolphins, Narwhals and Stingrays each winning a daily challenge. Millie Greener, in Year 4, was also one of the top 10 students in Northumberland.

Headteacher Gavin Johnston said: “We are very proud of our successes – really demonstrating the hard-work and commitment of our children at St Michael’s.”
