Marathon walk from wicket to wicket
Cricket coaches from Northumberland completed a 26-mile charity walk on Saturday to raise funds for two charities.
The Northumberland Cricket Board coaches took on the Wicket to Wicket Coastal Walk, trekking the equivalent of a marathon from Bamburgh Castle Cricket Club along the coastal path to Alnmouth & Lesbury Cricket Club.
All money raised is being donated to the Northumberland County Youth Cricket Charitable Trust, which looks to support the development of the game especially in hard-to-reach areas of deprivation and for those with disabilities, and Macmillan Cancer Support.
