Man flown to hospital after loft fall

A 64-year-old man was airlifted to hospital today after he fell 10ft from a loft, suffering neck and back injuries.

The incident happened at around 11.45am in Wooler.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene.

The man was assessed and treated by the GNAAS aircrew, before being flown to Newcastle’s RVI hospital. He arrived in a stable condition.
