Police are appealing for information after a man exposed himself to two teenagers at a Northumberland cemetery.

Northumbria Police said that ‘Between 3:30pm and 3:50pm on Saturday, May 2, a man exposed himself in front of two 14-year-old girls at West Lea cemetery in Netherton Lane’ in Bedlington.

Police said: “The man is described as being white, in his 50s, with white hair and may have been wearing a baseball cap. He was wearing a grey / green coloured jacket and dark combat trousers.

“Inquiries are ongoing into the incident and anyone with any information into the incident is asked to contact police in Bedlington on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 809 02/05/15 or to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
