Man dies in north Northumberland pub
Inquiries are ongoing after a 30-year-old man died in a Bamburgh pub during the early hours of Sunday.
A statement from Northumbria Police said: ‘Emergency services were called to the Castle Hotel, Front Street, in Bamburgh, at 1.36am, the early hours of Sunday, November 27, after a man was unwell. But sadly the man, aged 30, was pronounced dead at the scene.
‘At this stage, the matter is being treated as a sudden death and inquiries are ongoing.’
