Summer sunshine brought the crowds flocking to Glanton Show at the weekend.

So many people wanted to enjoy the annual event, the car park was full and cars were parked all over the village.

Chairman Jon Radgick said: “We have never had so many people trying to get in to the show.

“We were very lucky with the weather. It was a beautiful afternoon.

“The quality of the entries was very, very good. A few of the classes suffered because of the weather we’ve been having. We usually have a fabulous array of gladioli but this year there was only one person who had managed to get their gladioli to flower.”

As well as the exhibits, showgoers enjoyed a visit from the West Percy Hunt hounds, an exhibtion by the Milfield Heavy Horse Association, a great selection of craft stalls and a display of classic cars.
