Work starts on new office era

Work has begun at Amble Post Office, on Queen Street, as part of its transformation to a main Post Office branch.

It will be closed from 12.30pm on February 6 for refurbishment and reopen as a main branch on February 9.

Changes will include it having longer opening hours of 9am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday.
