Woman denies biting charge

An Amble woman has pleaded not guilty to biting another woman.

Kelly Gair, 35, of Links Avenue, denies assaulting Sarah Douglas last New Year’s Day.

At South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court last week, the case was adjourned until May 9 for trial. Unconditional bail was extended.
