Police are appealing for information after wheel trims were stolen from a car in Northumberland.

Between 9pm, on Wednesday, July 23 and 5.30am, on Thursday, July 24, police received a report of the theft from a car parked in the communal area on Threefords, in Milfield.

The offender approached the vehicle before making off with the rims from it. They are described as distinctive 13” plastic rims with ten red and black spokes.

Investigations into the theft are underway and police are keen to speak to any witnesses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, extension 69191, quoting log number 385 24/07/14, or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Northumbria Police is continuing to target opportunist thieves as part of the campaign Operation Soundwave.
