Filming continued outside Alnwick Castle this evening for the ITV drama Downton Abbey.
The barbican entrance to the attraction had signs on either side which said HMP York and cast and crew were seen outside with a vintage car.
Lady Mary, played by Michelle Dockery, was then seen heading from the Castle to the car and being driven to the entrance and getting out.
But she appeared to have trouble with the gate and the scene ended with laughter from members of the public watching.
A camera was position at the top of the Castle to capture the action.
And one onlooker said it was the fifth time the scene had been shot.
The filming continues in the Castle, Hulne Park and the town until the end of this week.
