WATCH: Amble’s First World War commemorations

A service and parade were held in Amble last weekend to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War and Britain joining in.

At the town’s clocktower 179 small wooden crosses were left as a tribute to the fallen and a mark of respect.
