Scarecrows took over Acklington at the weekend as the village hosted its annual trail on Saturday.
A host of colourful creations went on show; from SpongeBob SquarePants to Darth Vader, while some figures depicted the Scottish Independence debate.
The most popular exhibit, as voted for by the public, was Adrian the Acklington Mole Catcher, made by Nicola and Ray, of Cherry Tree Cottage. The eye-catching scene featured the hapless catcher on his knees with his head down one hole, while moles mocked him by appearing from other craters.
Second popular was the Worried Window Cleaner, created by John, of the School House, while third was Miss Carrier A Bagg, created by Acklington Art Group.
The event returned by popular demand and was well supported by parishioners and visitors alike.
It raised £654 to boost the funds of Acklington Church.
Refreshments were served in Acklington Village Hall, which was the best place to start the trail.
