Village hotel goes on the market
The Percy Arms Hotel in Otterburn has gone on the market.
It is for sale with Christie and Co for an asking price of £550,000.
It includes 27 letting bedrooms, several bars and dining areas, a 120-cover restaurant and a meeting/conference room
In addition, there is a closed former care home at the rear, which has 16 bedrooms, a residents’ lounge and dining areas.
Associate director Mark Worley, who is handling the sale, said: “Although the business is currently closed, we feel it offers an excellent opportunity for either a hotelier or licensed restaurateur to purchase the site and develop the trade.
“The amount of accommodation on offer lends itself to development, either in part or in full, subject to the relevant planning permission.”
