Fun in the sun at coastal town
Amble Puffin Festival got off to a great start on Monday as the sun welcomed locals and visitors in to the town square to see the activities.
There was a selection of stalls, many of them raising funds for charity, with the puffin theme popping up all over. Among the entertainers were the Harbour Lights community choir, Tribe Zuza dancers and the event kicked off with a ‘community conga’ led by puffin Tommy Noddy and his friend Puffin Billy leading a parade of children with their home-made banners. The event continues throughout the week.
