A luxury north Northumberland venue has given its support to the What’s on Where awards.

Newton Hall, at Newton-by-the-Sea, will play host to the inaugural awards night in March,

Organised by Northeast Press, publishers of the Northumberland Gazette, Morpeth Herald and News Post Leader, in connection with Tweeddale Press’s Berwick Advertiser, the awards will celebrate all that is good about Northumberland and the businesses that make it a special place in which to live and work.

And for Newton Hall, celebrations are key.

The venue is predominantly used for weddings but has now opened the doors to its corporate offering with a host of opportunities and the possibility of having a bespoke package made, tailored to your business.

Owner Duncan Fisher said: “We are thrilled to host the inaugural What’s on Where Awards at Newton Hall.

“Newton Hall is pitching itself as Northumberland’s newest, most unique venue for corporate business in the region and to be able to showcase our venue at the awards is perfect.”

The hall is an 18th century house which has been refubrished to create a ‘bold, romantic an d fantastical venue for any celebration.

The awards ceremony will be held there on Thursday, March 20, where the winners of the first What’s on Where accolades will be given their prizes.

Lisa Aynsley, events manager for Northeast Press, said: “I am thrilled to be working alongside Duncan Fisher and the team at Newton Hall. The venue is out of this world with their attention to detail at second to none. All in all it will make for a fabulous night.

“The What’s on Where Awards are brand new for 2014 and already exceeding expectations with regards interest and nominations, and why wouldn’t they? Northumberland is an amazing county. I would urge everybody to get on board and support them.”
