UPDATE: Convoy system in action on B6341

The B6341 is passable to traffic thanks to a county council plough in action.

Drifts up to six feet deep across the moors have caused problems on the road at Rothbury today.

Earlier this morning, police were warning motorists to avoid the road, but now it is passable.

Northumberland County Council has put a snow plough system in place in both directions to get vehicles in and out of the village safely.
