Turbine views wanted

The application for an 18-metre wind turbine at Highburn House had to be resubmitted as there was information missing.

The plans came back to the parish council this month and members decided to resubmit their objection, stating that it would have a high visual impact in a sensitive landscape close to the national park.

The council is also calling for any residents in the area to share their views on the turbine plans to ensure that they reflect the opinions of the community.
