An event is being held in Amble next week to help people living with sensory loss.
Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is joining forces with Northumberland County Blind Association (NCBA) for the drop-in.
It takes place at the social-care health information point at Amble Library on Wednesday, from 9.45am to 3.45pm.
People will be able to access information and advice about living with sensory loss, find out about the support and services in the area and how to protect hearing.
Trained staff will explain about products, equipment, support and services that are available to improve the everyday lives of people who are deaf or hard of hearing, have tinnitus, are vision impaired or deafblind.
The NCBA team will be present from 9.45am to 12.45pm. The Trust’s sensory support team will be there for the rest of the day.
