Tourism fairs look set to be sell-outs

Organisers of this month’s Tourism Fairs in Alnwick and Hexham anticipate a sell-out attendance at both events.

The Alnwick Tourism Fair will take place on Tuesday at Willowburn Sports & Leisure Centre, serving north Northumberland and the Borders, followed by the Hexham Tourism Fair the next day.

“We are expecting well over 100 exhibitors at Alnwick and we have already exceeded last year’s exhibitor numbers at Hexham,” said Philip Angier of event organiser, Local Living.

“The Tourism Fairs are a ‘don’t-miss’ date in the calendar for accommodation providers to collect information about local attractions for their guests.

“And they are also a great way for local people to find out about festivals and events in 2013 and family days out.”
