The Month of Margaret...

Where's Margaret?
Margaret Drummond has retired after 20 years as nursery and reception teacher at Whittingham First School. To mark the occassion there has been a 'Month of Margaret' at the school involving parents, governors, staff and pupils and events such as a ceilidh at the village hall, a staff meal and a leavers service. In turn Mrs Drummond treated the whole school to a trip to  Alnmouth beach on the last day of term  where the children produced the Mrs Drummond masks they had been as atribute to the popular teacher.
