An 18-year-old, convicted of receiving stolen goods, has been sentenced to six weeks in a young offenders’ institution.
The case of Dominic Allan, of Old Swarland, Felton, was heard at the magistrates’ court in Bedlington on July 9. Allan has a record of previous offending.
In a separate case, John Parker, 18, from Priory Park, Amble, pleaded guilty to stealing £1,000 from Dawn Parker. On Monday, magistrates in Bedlington ordered him to pay £350 compensation and subjected him to a community order.
