Residents on the north Northumberland coast will have a chance to have their say on future development in the area later this month.
A launch meeting for the proposed neighbourhood plan for the parishes of Bamburgh, Beadnell and Seahouses takes place in Seahouses Sports and Community Centre on Tuesday, from 7pm to 8pm.
It is followed by three drop-in events where people can share their views: Seahouses Methodist Church, next Wednesday, 10am to 3.30pm; Castle Inn, Bamburgh, Saturday, January 25, 10am to 11am; WI Hall, Beadnell, 2pm to 3pm.
The area’s county councillor, John Woodman, said: “The neighbourhood plan will set the future planning framework for the coastal villages.
“It’s a chance for the community to determine the future development of their village – unlike the parish plans from a few years ago.”
