A special broadband demonstration vehicle is touring Northumberland to prove that fast satellite broadband is now available anywhere in the county.
The Avonline Broadband unit appeared at Alwinton Show and has been at other communities in the west of the county this week.
Avonline broadband coordinator Elaine Sims said: “At the Alwinton Show, there was genuine interest from visitors in what satellite broadband can do for them, and for their communities as a whole.”
And the organisers are asking residents in areas struggling to get good broadband to nominate their area for the specially-equipped van to visit them, to show how effective the new satellite broadband systems are.
People from the villages of Elsdon and Otterburn have already expressed an interest. Find out more at www.avonlinebroadband.co.uk/northumberland or by calling 0800 130 3131.
