Sally's Smart move

SCHOOL pupils are leading the way in raising awareness of climate change.

Becky Tait and Sally Gray from Dr Thomlinson Middle School in Rothbury were among five regional finalists short-listed in a competition to design a logo for a climate change project.

Sally was declared the winner at a special event in Durham and her logo will now appear on all project materials including a Smart car.

She also won a seat made out of recycled materials for her school.
