Clock chiming on time again
The church clock is back in sync after repair work was carried out.
After invesitgations it was found that no further work needs to be done to improve it.
Internal auditor requests terms
The parish council’s internal auditor has said he will no longer be able to do the accounts unless he is given terms of reference.
Chairman Coun Jeff Reynalds is working on this with clerk Claire Miller to come to a resolution.
Complaint made to county council
A member of the public has made a complaint about the chairman of the council.
The standards committee and monitoring officer have been informed but the details are confidential.

Concerns aired on Whitton View
Concerns over plans to extend the Whitton View housing estate are to be made.
The council is to make three points in its response as a consultee.
These are the positioning of affordable housing, the need for a separate access to the new development and new drainage needs.
The second phase of tree works is now to take place in Rothbury.
Eight trees in the churchyard, three in the graveyard and two in the village green are to be looked at with one felled in each location.
Quotes are being sought.
