Road re-opened after north Northumberland crash

A ROAD has re-opened after a two-car crash in north Northumberland.

Tha A1068 was closed from 11.25am after a Nissan and a Landrover collided at Hawkhill between Alnwick and Lesbury.

Two people were taken to hospital after the crash with what are thought to be minor injuries.

The road was re-opened at around 2.20pm.
