This photo, by Mike Hosken of www.seahouseswebsite.co.uk, was taken last Thursday from Seahouses and shows a turbine shaft being erected at a windfarm site north of Alnwick and to the west of the A1.

Both the Wandylaw and Middlemoor windfarms are currently under construction and RWE, which is behind the Middlemoor scheme, expects its turbines to be operational by spring this year.
