Reporter Robert joins hunt for ghost chicken
GAZETTE reporter Robert Brooks will join ghost hunters at a haunted Northumberland hotel tonight.
The 36-year-old dad-of-two admits he's a little scared at the prospect of seeing spectres, including a ghost chicken which is reported to stalk the Schooner Hotel in Alnmouth.
"I'm looking forward to a night of fright, and I'll have my camera there to capture any strange happenings" said Robert.
"I've had a couple of eerie experiences in my life, but I can't definitely say I've seen a ghost yet.
"Hopefully the Schooner's fearsome reputation won't let me down."
Robert will be joining members of Falkirk-based Ghost Seekers UK, a tea, of professional paranormal investigators.
Twice named the most haunted hotel in Great Britain by The Poltergeist Society, more than 3,000 accounts of unusual occurrences have been recorded in the last few years.
Members of the public are invited to attend the paranormal investigation.
A few tickets are left, priced at 40 per person, and will include refreshments.
The investigation starts at 11pm tonight and concludes at 4am tomorrow morning.
