Prizes for Thropton pupils

The children of Thropton Village First School took part in a creative writing competition, organised by Vision for Education.

A total of five schools in the area took part, leading to more than 200 entries.

Thropton pupil Talitha Sharrocks, eight, won first prize – an Amazon Kindle, while school-mate Hannah Ridley, also eight, was a runner-up, receiving an Amazon voucher.
