Post Office given the stamp of approval

Amble Post Office has proved it is first class, by winning an accolade at the 2016 Post Office Network Sales Awards.

The team from the Queen Street branch picked up the title in the Most Improved Branch category.

Maureen Seaton, from Amble Post Office, said: “We’re really proud of our achievements.

“We all work really hard to offer our customers a great service and we’re pleased the Post Office has recognised our efforts through this award.”

The ceremony, celebrating the performance of teams and individuals working in more than 11,500 branches, was held in London earlier this month and hosted by TV presenter Anita Rhani.

Kevin Gilliland, from the Post Office, said. “We are undertaking the biggest modernisation programme in UK retail history and people working in branches like Amble are key to this transformation.”
