Police are warning people not to leave large amounts of fuel in vehicles if they aren’t needed at weekends after fuel was stolen from a farm at Rennington.
The incident happened between midnight and 8am on Saturday when a field was entered and 400 litres of diesel were siphoned off.
A statement in a Farmwatch email from police said: “Please consider when you refuel your vehicles - if they are not required over the weekend , then please consider refuelling them on the morning you require them rather than leave them fully fuelled over the weekend. Also consider where and how you are parking your vehicles at night.”
Anyone with any information shoudl contact police on 101.
